That is very true. If one wanted to split hairs, we could say that the L99 Camaro is a tick slower than the SRT8, but we won't go there.......

You can always do what my friends dad did! He bought both!!
He says that the chally (srt8) has better acceleration than the Camaro (L99) but still....guess which one is his favorite JM |

I visit many different car forums and the challenger one is more hate filled. This one is ok, and the svtperformance is good.

The Chally SRT8 I drove was really nice.. The engine is louder than the Camaro's and the seats have more cushion. Furthermore you can see out the windows better which makes it easier to park etc.. The Chally has more of a classic muscle car feel to it while the Camaro definitely feels more like a sports car. With that said, I ended up getting a Camaro and am happy with it so far. I have not punched it since I am waiting on GM to let me know if my car is affected by the Tremec Shaft breaking issue or not before I let loose. I think most everybody here would be happy with either car if you ask me and it really all boils down to looks and performance.. Everyone's taste is different and I happen to like both cars very much.. I like both better than the new Mustang..

One thing I like about the Challenger SRT8 is it comes with factory Navi but will it make a difference when I'm trying to look at the road while smoking it LOL

This was exactly what I said that got me banned:
I've decided after doing some research and canceling my order for an R/T challenger that it makes sense to go with the Camaro. I saw the camaro in person and I think it looks awsome. It also offers a lot more for the money which is a huge factor with the ever shrinking dollar. I'm very excited about it. We'll see you at the track my friends No hard feelings!! |

Bah, they are just mad because winter is coming and that increases the possibility of hitting a renegade iceberg.

Truthfully I think a R/T chally with the stick can run with L99

They think its good that they do not see the chally very much on the road... all that means is it isn't selling very well and they will be very lucky to see a refresh in a few years
I would take a new GT over the R/T, but the SRT over the GT for sure wow I just noticed I went over 1000 posts

I don't get all the car hate either...I think the Challenger is sick, and the Mustang GT500 is tight too (although I do like the previous look of it more than this new look...just my opinion)...obviously I think the Camaro is the best looking out of the three and I like it the most. Freakin people won't let others have their own opinions.
