According to FedEx, it has been delivered to my house. I will be installing it tonight and will report my results.

Exactly. There are better options.

Quite funny really. Everyone always bashes K&N on here, but since this part is associated with the Z/28...it's the best.

Just finished. No problems installing on a 2010.

It has a new MAF sensor installed in it so you don't need your old one.

The only funkiness was attaching the hose they supply for the PCV connection. The old connection was a rigid tube that pressed into the plastic. I just put the hose on the end of that connection and routed it under the elbow to connect to the PCV connection on the intake (looks like a little canister).

My engine bay is filthy, I know...

It's just black plastic, nothing fancy, but I like the stock look of it.

Vast improvement looks wise, will see if it makes a difference with performance or mileage.

Seems like it does...it's right in line with the weatherstripping for the regular hood seal.

Not sure what hose end of the hard plastic line goes to but couldn't it be fully replaced with pvc hose? Nice set up will be visiting the dealer this weekend and ordering

I didn't see an easy way to reroute without the molded plastic line. If you come up with something, let me know. Also, the molded plastic line directs the hose away from the accessory belt on the front.

They mention a retention clip for the MAFS connection on the radiator hose underneath the elbow but my car doesn't have it. I just tucked it into the PCV area on the elbow to keep it away from the power steering pump. You electric steering guys don't have to worry about that though.

It's the same part number as the one I already had.

I just ordered one on Friday. Don't really know why some people bring up the fact that it voids our warranty. All the aftermarket CAIs "could" void the warranty, dealer can't just void it based on the mere sight of it. IMO, best looking CAI
