Alignments is an Art that many front end shops lack.

As long as it is in the green window they think it is good.

The problem is the Green window is wide, too wide in my experience.

The reason I invested in my own laser 4 wheel alignment system.

When we do alignments they are set to our specs EXACTLY and it makes a world of difference.

Ted.

I'm not sure if it's the tire or the TQ curve of the procharger that gives him the traction on the street.

Generally yes, but it does depend where you go. I've build a rapport with the local Firestone. They align my car to the specs I give them. Not a range.

That's true forgot he was running a procharger.

I used 20" Nitto555R that lasted 8000 miles, no front swaybar, plus Pedders drag alignment and it would dead hook from a roll in second gear. First gear you would have to slip the clutch alot, just to try to hook. Tires and alignment will give you the best bang for traction.

I also hook really good from a roll, nto5r drag radials, full bmr rear suspension helped a lot before would spin real bad top of 2nd gear.

I ran my NTO5R on 20psi and would barely spin from a second gear role with 643whp
