That FAST intake was promised when they released the 102's years ago. Now, If they will fix there manifold material so it doesn't leak through the pours, that would be a good improvement.

So nothing yet? I'm making plans. I'll need to decide on a manifold eventually.

That was why I was irritated at Summit for baiting customers when they most likely KNEW that they wouldn't be released until later.
That's pretty crappy on their part. (Not sure if it's Summit's fault or MSD's.) There's a big difference in early January and Cinco de Mayo!

The fast 102 is the same one, they are just releasing different runners for it so you can adjust the power band.

Uses the same base and the same lid. Only difference is the length of the plastic runners inside. You will be able to buy just the shorter runners if you already have the FAST 102. The shorter the runner the higher in the rpm band it will make power ie. the shortest set they make will likely pick up 30 peak hp on a heads/cam car at the expense of some low end grunt.

Lid isn't different. In response to MSD they quickly SLA'd some different length runners to compete with the newer ones. They even said for 99% of the people, the original will be the best and only for 8k+revving crazy high RPM stuff will the new shorter runners be better than the normal long lones.

Just an FYI, Summit says 9/22 and jegs says 11/16 for release.

http://www.jegs.com/i/MSD+Ignition/121/2703/10002/-1

Summit was listing it as a release 4/5 last i checked.
