Want to try to buy the z28 rims regardless.
I disagree about it being a better investment. Your paying 3 grand and more taxes up front. So better I would say not, come selling time you'll actually probably be in better shape with the 13. Reason being, 3k less invested and last year and only year with the better tail lights on it with the my link radio (whether you have nav on it or not )12's didn't have it and although 14 does you get the Honda lights with that year.

One thing for sure whatever you decide I would definitely cross option 3 off the list. Black wheels are worth less and you get no nav or sunroof... for 700 bucks more for option 2, your getting a lot more value between the upgraded wheels and nav .
But if it were me it is option 1 that would be coming home with me

Good point. But honestly I will probably get the z28 black rims regardless. They look amazing with black on black. And probably look just as good with ashen grey. I gotta have the z28 black rims so if I know I am going to get those regardless then it should matter.

From an investment point I look at it this way, if you paid 60k for a 2013 a year ago, it COULD be worth 42.5 now (just basing off of my deal and yes if I had a 13 I would NOT sell it for that). So next year blue book should be around that 42-44 mark which means I shoukdnt be taking as big of a hit on depreciation. That as my rational.

I am leaning toward number 3 because I know I would probably get the z28 rims anyway. But if the dealership comes down another thousand on the 13 that would be hard to pass up!

well you won't have navi or a sunroof! I gotta say from experience you'll be kicking and regretting not getting all the gadgets that you can't just go buy! But it is your choice! Plus , I looked at the KBB 2 weeks ago on all years and the 13 was holding it's value in a greater margin over all years! Not surprising because some ppl said that it would be the year to hold its value and to be the best year out of the 5th Gens ! But the value was like 5k more ffor the 13!

Sounds like you know what you want then. I will tell you one thing I don't think to many people if any would sell there low mileage 13 at 42.5 . I know for sure I wouldn't be near that price. I'm Also pretty sure most would agree. That is a hell of price and you will be very hard up to find that pricing elsewhere. Just do a autotrader search and you will see that the average price on a low mileage 13 is over 45 k....
good luck with whatever you get though...

Also if you do get lucky enough to score the oem Z/28 wheels from someone selling , get ready to pay!!

Looking to buy a used 2012 zl1. Need some advice

I forgot to mention that you need to take into consideration that the Z28 wheels on the ZL1 or SS will stick out past the fender. There are a few threads of some guys doing this already and I cannot recall if it was F or R or all 4. The Z28 has fender flares which is why it's flush on the Z28

Looking at the pictures it would seem that all 4 will be out a tad bit. You can go with replica which is going to be out in January and will sit flush in 20s

They are different size for sure. They run 19" vs our 20" and different offset.

Still working the dealerships to tighten up price.

Narrowed down between 2014 black w black wheels or 2014 ashen gray with chromed wheels.

Both brand new.

There ridiculously priced.. upwards to 5k. The originals are nicer imo.
Recaros are good if you plan on road course events but even then they don't warrant the outrageous price.
Good luck on the new 14... still I would of picked the 13, it was at a smoking deal...
