I installed mine Saturday, LOVE IT! I was spending most of my time in SP4 (it has been raining), but changed to SP5 today. SP9 feels fun, but I can't see driving like that all the time.

This is what I gather...our stock throttle response is not 1:1 at first, the first aprox. 10-15% of throttle signal doesn't open the throttle body with a real time immediate response. It makes it gradual on purpose. This can't change that, but it can make it so it skips that slow-to-respond 10-15%. I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. With higher SP settings, it skips further.

Here is my post in another thread showing my install location.

If I do want to monitor it while I drive, I just have to tilt the wheel down one setting (not WHILE driving, mind you). It isn't ideal if you want to change your setting while in motion, which I'm not sure is advisable anyway (for safety reasons). At a stop though, I just have to sit forward a bit and I can see what number I'm on. I also wanted it in a spot where I couldn't accidentally hit it.

Palmer, That's exactly where I put mine, out of my line of sight.

I moved mine today, to the right side of the steering wheel... where the HUD control would be if I had it. Want to be able to see it if I choose to, with a slight movement of my head.

That's where I plan on putting it. I do have a couple other ideas, I hope one of those pan out.

Has anyone else noticed having difficulty turning off the Stabiltrak with a Vitesse installed? (Not that I do that sort of thing all the time... LOL!)

Just installed vitesse a few weeks ago and the spool is noticeably faster on the rear twins.

Vent, no issues with the stabili trac on my car.

Here is my setup to put it in my car where the hud controls normally go.
I took some 3/16" thick plexiglass and cut it out the size of the control box. I then made a groove it it for the wire to lay in so it will exit on the left side. I then mounted 3 rare earth magnents into the bacside of the plexyglass. I took a piece of sheet metal and cut it out to fit the recess in the dash. I put two sided tape on the plexiglass and mounted the controller on it. And two sided tape on the sheet metal to attach it to the dash. I covered the exposed part with flat black vinyl.
I will have to wait until it warms up some before putting this all in the car.

come to mention it, I noticed that and wondered why I couldn't hit the button to turn off, I guess the controller bypassed it, of course only way to tell is to disconnect and see if the tracton works again

I have had mine for a few weeks now, and I am really enjoying it! Definitely a worth while mod.

Here is where I mounted mine, using 3M double sided tape..

Right now I have mine mounted below the center gauge cluster above the steering column.I plan on moving it to the steering wheel tilt lock is on the side of the column. This is for me a set it and forget it on the current drive. It is a little distracting showing the Accelerator %. I guess I just don't want it too visible.

Has anyone thought about putting window tint on the screen so it's not so bright?

I have thought about it, before I do I want to see how bright it really is. Where I am locating it there may not be a problem though.
