I like how the z28s look but

Less hp
Less amenities
More money

All for 3.8 seconds faster around Nurburgring ? I just don't get it. If the z28s cost less than the zl1 then I would buy in. Or if they put an sc on the z28 but as it sits now it's a really hard sell. I could have picked one up but decided not to and went with zl1 instead.

If you sold your zl1 I don't see you being happier with a z28.

Well some ppl love a Hand built engine that is pushing 505hp with a N/A engine! Plus the Z/28 will be worth alot later! HP isn't what makes a car and the Z/28 / is a beast built !

Even though it is less power, I would rather have a Z/28 I think now. It would be a street/strip car though. Heads/Cam and all the other stuff that goes with it. Plus I like that the engine is built in MI. Personally, I think the LS7 is the best out of all the LS motors.

I'd probably pick the ZL1 if it was between these two! But that's because I love the wide retro grill and features that comes on the ZL1 and other 5th Gens! Have you seen the Z/28 wheels in person ? Those things are sweet looking ! I can't believe how glossy those things are and those wide tires look killer on it!

Unless your a hard core track person the Z/28 is just for show and a waste....

It kills me to see peeps buy the Z/28 and just park them without going to the local tracks.

But what the hell...it's their money...

LOL, I just want an honest, uncensored review. I'm not all that excited about the 6th gen yet, either. It would need to be leaps and bounds ahead of the 5th to get me to trade up. I like my big Camaro.

Z/28 with a supercharger would be sweeeeeet.

I sat in a new C7 the other day... let's just say I'd never get one. I'm 6'1" and it was a horrible seating position for me. I preferred the older larger C5 vettes.

Yea , I understand! And I think you will get alot of uncensored reviews from almost everyone! But I don't think the GT350 will be anything but a must have by ford and I would love to have one on side of my 5th Gen ! 6th Gen would have to look better the 5th Gen and the same size not just a better performer for me to to get one ! But GM is going the other way so I'm keeping my Beauty!

Yea, unfortunately this is the case ! And alot of C7 owners have traded theirs in for a 5th Gen Camaro or for their C6 back! They said it's smaller than the C6 in the inside!

I traded my C7 for my ZL1 and couldn't be happier. The lack of interior roominess was part of the reason but the C7 is an awesome car regardless. For me, the ZL1 has more to offer in several areas and I was shopping the ZL1 when I bought the C7.

When the 20% off came out, I pulled the trigger and I am thrilled with the ZL1.

..not dependable?, like early build SS that broke axles, engine fires, leaked oil, and what not? Few 'new' cars will have their share of problems. Not like a mass recall. And the owner of that blown C7 Z06 just took his car(w/ new engine) to the track w/ surprising results, mentioning even better than his Viper? The C7 Z06 will be the one to watch(break records).

Steve, could you elaborate? What didn't you like about the Corvette? I know the obvious would be no back seat and less storage. I was thinking of going back to a Corvette at some time and I would like to hear your thoughts having owned both. It is interesting because I have heard that GM does not think people cross shop the Camaro and Corvette, but I certainly did. Thanks...

From what I have heard on the Z06 is that the driver even said the car was just spinning the tires when doing the rolling starts. Seems like it has a big problem getting power to the ground.
