I respect this car like no other I've owned. I have spun the tires in the summer at 60 mph so no way was I taking that chance when it's cold.

God please bring on the spring.

Still driving mine and it's just about November. Tonight on my way home from work it was 30 degrees. Had a blast driving home. Tearing it up! (the deer do scare me) ....my tires are great though. Ditched the shitty GY's awhile back.
What a superior tire the continental extreme contact is. Love it!
I'll be driving this car this year until we get some snow.
Love my performance upgrades but man getting the new tires is up there for my favorite change to the car. They stick better when warm, there way quieter, you can drive them in cold whether without feeling like your on a skating rink and they don't fling rocks.
Oh and they are suppose to last a hell of a lot longer too..

Being from Ohio, I can relate. after 23 years, I got away from the cold snowy salt covered roads, now I can ride my R1 or drive the ZL1 any day of the year.

Gotta take the good with the bad; The air is prime for making the most power, yet it only means snow is right around the corner.
