I think we can all take lessons from the vette guys C5&C6's with the IRS they have been thru all this before wheel hop will break parts! sticky tires, hardened shaft, and put it in competition mode for the track.

Guys...This has nothing to do with wheel hope...or the TR6060 not being able to handle the power or the launch...it's a defective part. There are plenty of Camaro's that have been launched and abused that have held up just fine.

And why aren't they failing like this on the Vette, or Challenger? I thought this was answered already.

Here come the lolcarmags to drag GM/Camaro through the mud.. again.
because they have a different version tr6060. and there was a flawed batch i guess not all have issues with the output shaft but i can tell you one thing for sure the tr6060 in the camaro is not the same one in the vette.

Yet another reason why I'm starting to rethink my 'want' to put an order in until I stop seeing stuff like this fail. Especially if it's going to be my primary form of transportation.

Mine was held on the transmission constraint. It was one of the first few built after the constraint ended so I suspect it will have been checked thoroughly before it was assembled. Once I get her broken in I will not hesitate to pound on it. That’s why I bought it.
