still a lot cheaper than a zl1 lol

The only... and I really do mean only time I would seriously saying its ok to put the ZL1 front end on anything but a ZL1 is if you're looking to have DRLs and still want legitimate fog lamps. Otherwise, meh...

Its like someone who takes a Pontiac Fiero and puts a Ferrari body kit on it....

I think from what ive read here...most get the zl1 front end to replace their stock one because of damage...it has never crossed my mind to put a zl1 front end on my car.

Yeah... I just don't get it, either. Personally, I don't even really like the ZL1 front end that much, and prefer the stock one over it.

The ZL1 front end is my favorite. I can't be mad at anyone who wants the look. The guys swapping badges AND claiming they have the real deal is a mystery to me tho. I saw I lady at the auction who was trying to sell a "Mustang GT". I called her out and she said it just needed the engine swap which she hadn't gotten around too yet... But I see far more mustangs with GT badges than than camaros with SS badges. Like someone said I think I'd just go twin turbo on the V6 and make it look as base as possible and hurt feelings and pride every chance I got.

I saw a 1LT with a RS sticker the other day. I thought it was cute. It's their car, they could put FORD Mustang 5.0 on it what do I care? "Judge Not"....

I think putting a certain model hood, rims or kit on a car is different than badging a car, repeatedly.

It's like this kid in my HS (the good ol' 90's) whom had an 88' Fox clone. I had an actual 88' Fox Body 5.0, yet he was always claiming mine was fake. And of course, he'd never line up with me.

It goes from styling to claiming, in 1 second flat!

Putting incorrect badges on any car is just ridiculous imo but that's where it stops for me. If your a v6 and want to replace every single panel in your car with zl1 parts knock yourself out just don't add zl1 badges. For the people who disagree where is the line? Does that mean guys with steelies can't buy rs wheels for their car? Or V6 guys can't buy brembos because that's an SS thing, I guess SS guys can't supercharge their car cause then it may be mistaken for a zl1.

I knew a guy with a 2001 Mustang V6 who swore that he had "the part on his engine that made the Saleen fast." Of course he also denied he was doing something he wasn't suppose to be doing even though he was shown the video of him doing it. So...his claim may have been suspect at best.
