It doesnt look like there is too much damage to the car, at least body damage.

One thing I noticed that the side airbags were deployed....that lets me know that they work!! Even with small damage.

That's why I have my carry permit and utilize it.
I'm no Dirty Harry, and I'd give up my car over my life anytime, but sometimes you may not have that option!

Whenever I'm at an intersection/stop, I keep it in 1st gear with with the clutch pedal to the floor.(probably not good for the throw out bearing) I'm always aware of my surroundings, just in case I need to drop the hammer.

I'm just glad the guy let her out and did not try to rape or kill her. Hope she and her family are recovering and they catch that guy before he hurts someone else.

My application was super easy, one of my references is a good friend of the family who happens to be a corrections officer for over 10 years. I think that helped to speed things along.
I love Pa's ccw application process. Go to sheriff station, fill out form, instant background check, leave with permit in hand. haha Kind of sucks that De doesn't honor Pa's permit though because I live right on the boarder and I'm always in De

Almost all new GM vehicles come with 1 year of OnStar free...including us lowly 'six-banger' drivers.

Sorry, my mistake. All Camaro trim levels have Onstar standard, as well as the safety other features. Too bad Onstar cannot automatically detect an incident such as this, i.e., weight classification, panic button, etc. Maybe in the future.

Negative - I really HATE when people take things that aren't theirs, especially by force. I can't stand the mentality that "I want that, but I'm not willing to work towards it so I'll just take it anyway"

Positive - Now we have proof that the trunk is roomy enough to fit an entire adult. (Sorry, I couldn't help it. I really hope she's okay)

I say that when you run from police, especially in a car, you waive all constitutional rights and the police should be allowed to just shoot you.

As I was reading the article I just knew it would end with the criminal wrecking the car. It happens everytime. Afterall, if its stolen, what does the criminal care if it gets wrecked. It's not like anyhting more will actually happen to the criminal if he wrecks it and its not like he's going to have to actually pay for it.

Unless, of course, we allow road-side executions, or bring back caning or branding or some other really heinous punishement for habitual violent criminals. Maybe cut off the right foot so they can't use the gas pedal or something.

I know I'me being extreme and I'm really just venting here but this stuff just burns me up everytime I see or hear about it.

They caught the guy already. It was Mr. Outing. Go figure! He was living up to his name and taking an Outing. :( Hope the Camaro V6 outing was worth the years in jail. What a loser!!! They should let the woman at least kick him in the balls for every mile he drove then use a sledge hammer on his balls for wrecking her Camaro. Then he should be wheel chaired to court!
Here's the previous post with the updated news...
