Personally, I don't mind if it is a chevy, ford, chrysler, etc. I have owned and driven all and more. Family always trumps personal preference. However, this is C5 and I value the insights of C5 enthusiasts solely. It is a matter of why I am on C5. It doesn't mean any more than that. I am over it.

Nobody ever said that. Count the seat belts.
Does not matter the Camaro does not have room for 3 let along 4. 3 or 4 grown ups it the Prius. that goes.

Congrats....you must have lucked out finding a dealer that had one. Did you pay any mark-up? Dealers here in the states are still adding their outrageous mark-ups

I like the Hellcats and glad Dodge decided to make em. I actually put my order in for a Hellcat Challenger back in Oct. of 2014 (was going to trade my '14 SS). After 6 months of waiting and no VIN assignment or even an estimate of when I would see it, plus the allotment process and dealer mark ups, and then I hear they ran out of the A8 tranny's - I wound up finding a 2015 ZL1 in the color I wanted and was able to buy it at Invoice with no games.

Yeah, I paid about $7k above msrp. That is the best I've heard of though. There aren't that many in Canada.

I'm glad Dodge made them too. It forces the others to step up their game. With Dodge basically flopping their d1ck out on the table, it means Ford and Chev are going to follow suit. The better the cars being built, the better the cars we buy.

The Hellcat is a beauty, but I like my Camaro. Glad you got a cool car to sport around in with the family instead of a minivan - the kids will never forget good times in that car, but a minivan... nobody remembers, so make lots of memories. Plenty of people post here and drive other cars, so hang around.

Certainly planning on it Sea Who knows, I might be in a ZL1 next year if the power is upped, and the interior is a little different. Keep the Hellcat for the family days. The Z for me days.

Dont know why anyone would get a gaycat apart from the crazy horsepower...and even then you can just buy a stang or camaro drop 30k on TT+mods and make insane ammounts of horsepower and still be cheaper than gaycat.

Cause that's cool. Spend 30k on mods, no warranty, and now you have a 75kcar you could sell for 40k. Tell me more about the big back seat mod for Camaros. I wasn't aware they had one.

Good choice, I would love to have a Hellcat in the near future. Have you had it on the track yet?

I'm guessing you've never driven or rode in a Gaycat, correct? This is why forums, and the Internet in general is so frustrating. I would never say to a guy at a car meet, "Hey buddy, nice Gaymaro, why wouldn't you just buy a Civic and drop 45k in it so its crazy powerful", yet this is the norm on forums. The Mopar forums are no different, nor are the Ford ones. Like a bunch of little kids arguing who has the best skateboard. Very tiring. We should be joining forces against the electric crowd, because once that starts to take off, say goodbye to muscle cars and sports cars of every brand. You can count on that.

I've got three teenagers 17, 15, and 13 I put in my Camaro and they love riding in it.

I like what the one guy in this thread said, these cars make memories they'll remember forever. My two youngest remember my '99 Z28 and they were just basically babies when I owned it. My son, the 15yo even remembers me racing at Gainesvillle and he was only around two at that point. He couldn't wait for me to pick up the SS so we could go back to the track.

The announcer at the track used to introduce my Z28 as the grocery getter I can't imagine what they'd say about a 4 door lol
