OP if it's legal tint the whole windshield then I would. Here in Tennessee it was illegal to go beyond the front strip but I always get my windows tinted on all my cars. My most recent tint job was on my Porsche and this is when I was told by my tint guy that now we can tint the whole front windshield. I plan to verify if that is accurate but if it is then off with the strip and on with the entire front windshield for all 5 of my autos.

I might do my windshield, maybe 6-7'', I have 20% all around now.
