Why are people scared of getting a little weather on their car? Don't get me wrong but... its just a camaro! Its not a van Gogh... its just a $30-44,000 car that is anticipated by production to exerience weather. If you have a phobia of getting water/sun/wind on your car then I dunno...

Maybe this will help. There is a very good chance your Camaro has already been rained and snowed on for days before you took it home. When Camaro leave the factory it sits in a massive parking lot waiting to be loaded on a Truck.

I watched the show on the Camaro Factory. Every car is driven into a room were they spray tons of water on the car to check for leaks. So don't be afraid of a little water every Camaro has been wet before it left the factory.

Amen still have never washed my car and i got june 2009.I take it for a ride then use some detail spray and tuck it into the garage. But then again I haven't even seen it in 5 months. In a couple more weeks I'll go get it out of storage.

The jury's still out on the crazy part. I thought I was bad. My car will never see rain. I'm not even sure how the wipers work but I do wash mine ever so gently before putting her back in the garage.

Does anyone Know if what he said is true? I'm scratching my car with the detail spray?

Do ya see scratches??? I used to only use detail spray but no way can you get all the dirt and break dust off so I wash my car once a week but here in So-Cal its mostly 80deg so it drys pretty easy...I'm pretty much over not trying to get the car wet .....But drive in the rain Hell No not here In So-cal people just freak out when it rains my car is safe at the house..

But yes wash the car you will see its much cleaner

i hope you guys have washed your cars by now lol, i rarely wash the camaro because its never driven, i do wash every few weeks though in the summer just kinda for the experience. anyhow, even though the car is say just dusted and spray waxed i can tell 100% the car looks better even after she's dried and all. Plus i just love washing on a nice sunny day (and yes in the shade).
