Dosent matter if its a corvette or a pinto, I always move over to let the faster guy keep going. Lets traffic keep moving and lets that guy get the ticket first.

It's kind of embarrassing because I'm in the same car. It sometimes happens with other cars as well....I just notice those guys more because it's a camaro. I do notice that is someone is tailgating and I get on it......they fade back a bit because they can herar my loud nasty exhaust. I am very polite when driving my car....sometimes I think I surprise people.
I think this kind of behaviour is more prevalent North of the border. When I drove the U.S. coast in the summer I saw very little of the tailgating by those super fast dodge Hemi pickups or the tuner cars trying to prove how slow your car is. Oh yeah and Camaro owners waved

I'm betting that people are assuming that you're going to be at least decently quick of the mark, so there won't be any 'penalty' involved by tucking in behind you. Those familiar with that specific stretch of road already know it's the right lane that gets squeezed out of the picture.

People probably try a little harder to get in front of an SUV or minivan, if only for the better forward vision you get from being ahead of them.

That bitch didn't even say sorry as I passed her a few minutes later.

Today one car turns left from a stop sign no prob, second car doesn't stop and pulls out following the first car right in front of me forcing evasive action on my part.

Worst part is in both cases I am the last car around for miles,WTF is wrong with people.
I hate those people. 3 lanes of traffic, 2 of them open, and they have to pull in front of you going 20 under and accelerating like molasses. Haven't had had any real close calls in the new Camaro, but I did have a guy in an F150 force me into the center divider when I had my 01. He at least got out to check when I honked at him, but he said he didn't see me. I don't know how you miss the only car coming at you, in the middle of the day. My car was Torch red too.

It does make me laugh that you guys really believe that other people fear the Camaro. Our cars do have more power than most cars on the road, but I bet that 75% or more of them have no clue what the Camaro has and they don't care either. If you think other cars fear your Camaro do you pull over to the side of the road and hide when you see a Hellcat, a CTS-V or a Z06 and I could go on and on.

Well think about it. When was the last time any of us tried to speed around a Lambo, Viper or 911? Unless the driver of the sports car is driving super slow we don't have the animal instinct to try to race them.

Now god help the soccer mom in the mini van who pulls in front of us....when thats happens it's game on. lol

I tend to somehow find every Prius driver out there......I call them "Pricks in a Prius"...they are the worst.

I admit I'm one of those guys that weaves through traffic to get behind a car that sounds good.

No one is scared of a Camaro to be entirely honest. They are a dime a dozen car, and most of them are a V6 that can't outrun most family sedans.

Enjoy your car and don't worry about other people

Exactly, talk about a case of overinflated egos.

I guess they were intimidated
