Do you Caliper Covers trap in brake heat?
We designed the Caliper Covers to dissipate brake heat. Our specially engineered cover divert heat away from your brakes and out through the top of your factory calipers. We hold our production standards to an OEM level to ensure safety of enthusiasts such as yourself.

Do the Caliper Covers reduce brake dust?

Results will vary depending on the brake pads used, but our customers have reported that they noticed less brake dust after installing our Caliper Covers.
No, you are the idiot (remember, you started with the name calling, tsk tsk) who can't see past his own ignorance and the fact that you still think those covers weren't made to emulate a BBK shows how big of a fktard you really are. Also, of course MGP is going to say good thing about caliper covers because no shit sherlock, they want to sell them!

Lastly, they may not retain much heat but they sure as hell don't dissipate it (compared to oem)! The fact that you can't see that shows how simpleminded you really are and I'm pretty much done arguing with what amounts to that of a brick wall.

You're obviously blind OP. Those painted-on rivets reduce heat by 85%. They are track tested, Brembo approved

I actually can't believe I just read this whole thread.....
No way to get the last 10 minutes of my life back.

For the record, I really don't like the look of the plastic things but then again, the stock V6 brakes are just as ugly so I give up ???
Your car, do what you want.

You keep saying that they hold in heat and provide no performance benefit what so ever, yet you provide no evidence to back you statement. It's you that can see past your asinine ignorance, so why don't you just f-off and stop preaching to everyone how they should or should not mod their car.

Oh and here's a video shows the MGP caliper covers being test and proving they do help dissipate not retain heat to help improve braking, which I call a performance benefit and that's all I have to say to your idiotic ass.

Too bad they don't make the caliper covers with orange LED's shining on the rotor to make it look like they are glowing.

I'm not a fan of the covers, but if someone wants to buy them...it's their money. I pimp out my vehicles the way I like them.

LMAO

Also, does he really take MGP's youtube video as fact?

I just don't see how a cover is going to dissipate heat better than the caliper without a cover (I know why they might, but I bet he doesn't........rhymes with proud). However, even if they did, that's not why they are bought (for performance right.......LOL).

Why can't he just admit he bought them because they look like a BBK (and like I said before, I have no problem with that)? The fact he denies that with such vitriol shows how touchy he really is.

I thought you were done arguing, i guess your just petty and have to have the last word. So I'll leave you with this and if you want to get the last word in that's fine by me, more power to you Forest. I bought them because I like the way they look behind my ZL1 replica wheels (oh no I must be trying to full everyone and make them think I have a ZL1) not because you think they look like BBK. Later Forest.

No offense (well, kind of), but your wheels look better without them. The good news is (since you have a transformer decal) you can autobot out of there when someone starts getting close to your vehicle before they notice the big yellow things that look like a BBK are actually just covers.
