That's good info. Maybe GM will come up with some other incentive. Ford has 0 APR 2K cash back on the mustang. Hope we go 3400 real quick.

Good to hear that some of our 10/12 already made it to 3400. I got so excited, I spent the afternoon cleaning out the garage. I think I'll paint it this week (walls and floor).

If we are going to 3400 now, doesn't that seem like it is a week early?

Just seems to me that a TPW of 10/12 at 3400 now is awesome, maybe get VIN before the 12th.

To All:
Went to dealer yesterday I'm at 3400 also.

I checked with him regarding the $500 rebate / 60 money back guarantee. He told me there are a lot of caveats with returning the car. First off you have to keep it for 31 days, have less than 4000 miles and upon return an independent appraisal company will inspect. If more than $200 worth of repair "No Deal"! So it sounds like you're better off taking the $500.

For those that require front license plates I checked with my dealer (Gearhart Chevy), about putting on an aftermarket license plate bracket by Swift Motors, which is retractable and is attached to the bottom of the facia instead of the "nose". He told me it wouldn't be a problem, but when the car is getting close to the dealership to remind him so some prep guy doesn't drill holes in the nose of the facia.

I've been following the whole front plate discussions. I think I'm going with the Swift Plate as well phantomcam. I haven't seen one Camaro down here in Maryland with the front plate. Has anyone priced them out yet?

Actually the retractable front plate I saw was from swiftmotorsports.com. The manually operated plate is $60. I saw a demo of an electronically activated one somewhere on one of the other Camaro05 blogs. It was really cool, but also $150.

Just checked with my dealer; 3400!!

Hopefully I'll get some driving time before the snow flies! I think the anticipation is getting worse the closer it gets...

Looks like 4 or 5 from our class have been upgraded to 3400. I sit at 3300 but I am pretty optimistic about getting there tomorrow. Congratulations to our early achievers. Next step is VIN!
