That's why I asked if there were any other runs with AFR on them. I wanted to see if there it was the dyno operator rolling on the gas or if the EPA mandated that lean of a setting below 2500.

Well, I won't coment on your need for a bung.... LOL! But (pun intended), you can get a fairly accurate AFR from a tailpipe probe...... That just don't sound right! LOL!

A little I guess..... Anyway, I'm gonna try to schedule some dyno time next weekend and I'll try to get them to do a simulated 1/4 to see what it does on the AFR....

I pay $55 for 3-4 pulls, depending upon how much time he has, what we are doing to the car.

So looks like you gained somewhere around 15HP, and 28 TQ on top with these mods.

I'd like to see a full dyno chart with your original run vs this one and view your gains across the entire RPM band.....post it sometime if you get the chance!

Thanks!

This is what I have. Any questions would have to be answered by Auto Motion. Phone number is on the sheets.

Stainless Works headers are made from 304 stainless, the good stuff. The results are what they are and consistent. The base dyno numbers were at a different dyno however my end result were a 265,268,268 HP and these are not manufactures numbers. Compare this to the base lines of what the other members are getting. I have read, but can not confirm that the Mustang dyno doesn't dyno as high as a Dyno Jet. If that is true, these numbers might be higher.

I've heard the opposite, lol. Mustang tends to give higher numbers, DynoJet lower. Who knows? Unless a shop has them side by side and one can dupilcate runs almost exactly, it would be damn near impossible to say one reads higher then the other.

Maybe I missed it but what correction factor for conditions was applied to the results?

I know my car dyno'd at 249.2hp/231.85tq - uncorrected.

With STD correction, it drops to 247.55hp/230.29tq.

With SAE correction, it really drops off down to 240.56hp/223.79tq.

Even if you apply some sort of correction factor, your v6 is still whooping up on my v6...

Did your SW header setup ever get any quieter or lower pitched with time? I seem to remember the videos that were originally posted of it having a really high-pitched exhaust sound rather than a lower more rumbling sound.
