Shit, you guys got it easy there in the states. Come drive over here in Manila, Philippines. Then you'll know what shitty traffic is like. It took me literally 40 minutes to travel a wee bit over 1 mile or 2km. That's why owning a car here is good for long trips only. Scooter/motorcycle is where it's at here. I see all these dumbasses here trying to hurry along and cut me off or keep me from slipping by, I find another opening and laugh to myself as I slip right on by as they're stuck there in the most abysmal traffic ever. My current ride here is a Honda Click 125i scooter that has a top box and the little thing will move right on out to 80kph with ease. I think flat out it would do 110kph, but I don't wanna test it anywhere around here. And talk about dirt cheap on fuel. It gets the equivalent of 110-130mpg with me driving. It has an Akrapovic exhaust on it and for a little 125cc one popper, sounds pretty damn good. There are 2 other bikes here that I have my eye on for later. One is the Suzuki Raider 150R, a bike that falls in the underbone category. Makes 15hp from the oil cooled dohc 150cc engine and has a 11k redline. The other is the Honda RS150. It is also an underbone bike, but it's a liquid cooled dohc 150cc that makes 16bhp. There's a newer EFI Raider 150R that's got a new engine design and it is supposed to be liquid cooled and get a whopping 20hp from the little 150cc engine. The Raider has a huge following here. It's been out since early 2000's and hasn't really changed because it didn't need to. Last year the Honda debuted and that has forced Suzuki to make some changes.
You guys just don't realize how good you have it there in the USA. A used Camaro V6 goes for 30-35k USD and the SS goes for 50k+ One of the unfortunate side effects of living on an island
Everything is expensive............lol. Hell, even a new GT Mustang that goes for 35k in the States goes for 55k here. Definitely have to be a baller to afford something like that here. I'll be glad to move back sooner than later........lol.

A friend of mine, when asked "what's it got", always answered, "an engine".
Used to confuse and/or pass people off. I think they genuinely wanted to know what he had under the hood but he just got so tired of the question.

There's so many clever ways to answer that question. Try that when asked.

Please get ahold of yourself. Plenty of LFX and LLT owners do not have buyers remorse. I do not have buyers remorse; I got the vehicle I wanted with the best paint job GM offers. Why have a generic v8 when I am building what I want.

I parked at a restaurant one day and there was a kid in an RS parked a couple spaces away. When I walked by him I complimented him on his car. He told me he only liked Camaros with Halo's. I just laughed and walked away. Funny what kids like these days, colored lights, tinted lights, blinky lights. To each his own.

That said, if I was buying another Camaro and it was going to be a part-time driver and garage queen I'd go with a V8.
Exact reason why I got the v6... I'm not gunna take my car to a track anytime soon... And even if you get a v8 and get into the non stop piss measuring competition of trying to out horse power ppl you're just gunna end up not enjoying your car as much

I used some overkill this morning on the way to work. Will also look for overkill opportunities on the way home. A day without overkill bores me! I was so lucky to order my car with the overkill option! Best overkill DD that I've ever had.

^ Best post of thread. I pass at least 2 cars across double yellow every day. Then again most people here drive 10-20 under.

+1

I will say it does draw some interesting expressions and positive/negative conversations when you pop the hood and they see a snail on a V6. And it's uncommon which is nice.

I'm getting a wee bit tired of the wife wanting some action after a drive because the rumble, acceleration, and noise get her going.
