You can still pull the relay out of the fuse box to do that. Kill switch is best bet. I'll tell you, it can be done without cutting any factory wires even... If you are good with electrical. Lots of factory harness plugs available

I'm preparing invoices and documents form the insurance company...man didn't realize how much money I've put in this car over a period of 7 years.

Yeah, I try to not think about it. I have a spreadsheet of my costs that I've currently spent and what I plan on spending...ouch!

Sorry to hear OP. People who steal suck. I know it's not of the same magnitude, but this past summer I took a trip down to Gatlinburg, TN to stay in a cabin with my girlfriend. Took 5 hours to get there one way, so when we got there we locked the cabin up and just left our luggage in the cases in the bedroom and ran to get groceries. Came back and hour later and the cabin had been broken into. Among the items stolen was a ring I planned on giving to my girl that I was gonna surprise her with. Still paying it off too is what sucks. Never got it back and the cops weren't very useful. All you can really do is hope and pray that it either turns up or the piss poor souls get whats coming to them

Makes sense as comp coverage is based for one thing on the value of your car. If you have a $5,000.00 car premiums will be less than if you have a $30,000 car. Again, you have too see it from the insurance companies perspective in case of a theft / fire loss.

Luckily for me, she wasn't all that upset. She's too sweet haha. I was the one who was more pissed off. She's a "at least we have our health" type of gal
