I had really never considered buying a camaro until the gen 5 was released. The first one I saw had me stammering. The build, the body lines, the cockpit design; everything about it was my automotive wet dream! I knew someday, I HAD to have one!

I grew up in the 80's, and was enthralled with the 3rd gen f-bodies as a kid. I ended up using the money I earned from my first job to buy a '91 Firebird. Not too many years later, I upgraded to a '95 Firebird Formula. Absolutely loved that car!

After getting married and having kids, the need for a larger vehicle caused me to sell my beloved Formula. I purchased a mini van with the intent of paying it off one day, and getting another "fun" car. I suppose now that Pontiac is no more, a Chevy Camaro was the obvious choice.

My wife drove a 79 Camaro when we dated some 30 years ago. After two minivans and kids grown it was time to get her another one.

Always liked the Camaro, could not justify when it was new, but a few years older made the price right. Once your in it, it's like the cockpit of an aircraft where I spent a lot of time.

Great performance, great looks how can you go wrong.

yep same here.... I was already to pounce on a brand new 2013 1LE and had a used 2012 ZL1 fall in my lap with only 3k miles on board. That was more than 4 years ago and it now has over 50k miles.

My eye has always been drawn to the way Camaros are styled over everything else. They also always seem to be more affordable on the used market than Mustangs, Challengers,Chargers, etc. There just always happens to be a Camaro or Firebird available when I am looking for another car. '78Z28--->'86 Trans Am--->2002 Camaro--->2010 SS.

I had a 73 Camaro and dumped a ton of money and 5 years into making it bad ass. I had a blast and loved it. I recently just got a 2012 2SS and love it. It brings my wife and I right back to our teen years. I love the technology in the new ones too. I kept one of my original fender emblems and mounted it in the one I just got right above the glove box. I'm a kid again !! Yup .. that's why I got the Camaro .... to be a kid again at 50 ! : )

This is my second Camaro. I had a 74 Z28 back in that day. I needed cheap transportation and this 14 2SS RS came along from a friend at the right time.

I was 7 years old when the first Camaro hit the roads, and it immediately became my favorite car. Not sure how you explain that? When my eyes sent the image of that car to my brain, it made me happy. After over 50 years, it still does! My first new car was a 1977 silver Camaro and my last new car may be a 2014 silver Camaro. I can guarantee I will own a Camaro for every day of the rest of my life. :-)

I've always been a camaro guy at heart, even though there are much faster and lighter platforms out there, I've always been drawn to Camaros. Growing up I had numerous 2nd gens and later in life had a small collection of 4th gens. When the 5th gen came out, frankly I hated everything about it and completely discredited the 5th gen all together. Over the past couple of years they really started to grow on me, then got a chance to drive one and instantly fell in love, then discovered the 1LE in my sig and had to have it.
