# of Shifts at GFX?

Hello,

I found out my Camaro was built today as of 12:30. Trying to figure out a delivery time now, I ordered IBM with white rally stripes. Does anyone know how many shifts GFX in Whitby runs? Are they only running a day shift or do they run an afternoon shift? I ordered 7/15, can't wait for my new Camaro 1SS!!

Delivery will be just down the 401 from Oshawa to Windsor.

Mine has the factory installed IMO strips from the factory, it had 15 miles on it when I picked it up. This included the dealer filling the tank with low octane fuel . Since they are driving them on the roads I'm glade mine was built in the summer

this is exactly why im going to have them painted at a local shop. it will be worth the wait. NO STICKERS on my Camaro! except Upstate C5

I am VERY concerned about my new Convertible Camaro being driven through the salt. I was going to have my car trucked home on a flatbed if it comes in before the roads in NH are "unsalted", but now I wonder what the point is. I'm closer to the dealership than Whitby is to Oshawa. :(

Cool They drive them

I work at the place they do the decals. I get them prepared by driving them in and out and washing hood and trunk. My Dad works where the people who drive these cars back and forth. So ya@! Not a bad car except the paint job could be better. Just a little orange peel!

And by the way the drivers only make so many runs per shift and once they are done they go home and get paid for the rest of the day. So how fast do you think they drive?

Well, that explains the salt in the fender liners when I removed them for the Heritage Grille install. Also the Salt on the carpet in front of the drivers seat. It all cleaned up, and after a few washes its all gone. And no more salt here in Austin.

About how fast they drive, they dont. I go to Durham college whitby and have seen the lines of camaros go by and even followed them in my own camaro on my way to school from stevenson down champlain to thickson and they dont drive them fast or abuse them. Seen them go by many times and they dont drive "fast". Responsible would be a more descriptive word.

So did I, and I have stripes as well. Is this a new thing?

Yes, you are right. They do not drive "fast" I was just putting the idea out there. They do have a van that follows them too and from the yard, and they are most likely timed, so speeding would just be to obvious.
