Everyone keeps saying ABM is so much better than HBM. If thats the case why is ABM the lowest selling color on the Camaro? I guarantee HBM will sell MORE t han ABM has. Theyre not stupid. Believe me, they know what theyre doing.

How does anyone know what colors are a go at this point? Where is all of this HBM coming from in the first place? I was one who was hoping to get ABM early next spring. I'm really irritated that it is canceled. The IBM is too dark and looks black in any other light than midday sun.

Have you seen an Aqua Blue Metallic Camaro in person? If so, did it really compare to the render on the builder? Almost everyone I've talked to has said that they'd order an Aqua Blue Metallic Camaro when they've seen mine. Several have even commented how it doesn't look much like the Aqua Blue on the builder. GM may not be stupid, but they did a great disservice with the images of Aqua Blue Metallic online.

Your statement also doesn't say anything about Imperial Blue and its lack of popularity.

Just because it's on the front page doesn't mean it's true. I've yet to see anything official about Hydro Blue Metallic. Besides that, did you notice that he is the one who started the thread?

Hopefully the Hydro Blue or the Berlin Blue from the Dusk Camaro comes thru for next year. If they do I'll be ordering one. I usually get blue cars & was hoping the IBM was more like the GTO IBM. I've seen it in person & it mostly looks like a dirty black car, except in bright sunlight, when the top curves look nice. The ABM just didn't do it for me, too much green in it. So, I've been waiting for a better color option. I was hoping for a color like the Marina Blue from the 1st gen Camaros. Looks like the Hydro is pretty close to that.

This color was under review as a limited color, but has been cancelled. This a recent event.

Someone asked how we could possible know about these color changes before they take place, I'm not sure how to answer that. Prior to any of these cars hitting the road, you have to plan, design, and build them. This takes time. Sometimes a few years. Marketing is in the drivers seat, and they can change there mind based on several factors. Can we make it, and how much does it cost.

The Camaro colors of the future, what ever they are, will be known in advance to their release. I also hope for a blue other than the IBM, but for now, we will have to wait and see.

But, Olympic White is still a go, for now...........

If I find out of future color options, I will not be posting them here. I do not want anyone other than myself to be disapointed.

2010 was early for a number of reasons. From now on, new models will be released on a normal schedule unless there is a major refresh or new generation, either of which won't be for a number of years.

You do realize that adjusting shades/offering new colours for different model years pretty much the norm for any car, and its been that way for decades.

The Camaro isn't the only car they have to think about when these decisions are made. The Impala uses the same paint booth. The Camaro sales volume is nearly irrelevant next to the Impala.

we don't. I remember an 'official' list that got 'leaked' back in late december 2007 or very early january 2008. I think less than half were correct.
