I put the trunk lid RS emblems under the Camaro front fender insignias and it looks good. Do not improper badge...crime punishable with 7 years of having to drive a V6 mustang! LOL

best

Yes. While both cases you're pretending to be something you're not, its a lot better to appear to be less rather than more.

Instead of badges, what if we were talking about engine power? Two cars are rated at 300 hp. One is underrated and actually makes about 350 hp. The other is overrated and actually makes 250 hp. Each is being equally deceptive, but one will cause bitterness amongst owners and will be laughed at by other enthusiasts while the other gives owners great big grins. A similar case can be made for up-badging vs down-badging
There is some merit to the idea of publishing performance. GM used to put the displacement number on some of its cars, so you could get a badge that indicates the cylinders and the displacement. Alternatively, you could build your car for performance and have the goal of outperforming a specific—Mustang GT—V8. With that goal, you could then have a badge made that would reflect the performance of your car and the cylinders. Imagine having a classic V6 logo with 400 written under it. EmblemPros would probably be happy to do this work for you.

Are you saying that the idea of putting a V8 badge on a V6 is attracted to other ideas of the same gender?

Let's leave that sort of vocabulary out of our opinions.

As the SS now indicates a V8 those flags used to indicate a V8, in my opinion If you shouldn't put SS badges on a V6 then don't put V8 flags on a V6 (Chevy has never put V8 flags on a V6, BUT they have put SS on 6 cyl cars). even though you have a V type engine EVERYONE knows that signifies a V8....
I was thinking of getting the old school 6 cyl emblem...
or how about if someone made the 3.6 to go above the V flags?
