I think it's interesting how the results show a clear pattern in voters.

50% of people would choose the challenger, and the other 50% would be evenly split between the Mustang and something else.

What do you infer from the results.

I take two things from this poll. One, there seems to be a lot of people into looks over performance. Two, there also seems to be a lot of people that really hate ford.

I agree on the anti-ford part, but out of any car on the market the Challenger seems to be the most similar to the Camaro.

No, but I've driven both a newish (2008) Mustang and two 2010 Camaro's. I've only sat in the Challenger. Regardless, what car would you say is more similar to the Camaro than the Challenger, particularly to enthusiasts?

Seems to me that both the Camaro and Challenger have large V8's, 2 doors, long hood/short deck, IRS for smooth cruising, compromised visibility due to styling, excess weight due to sedan based platform, moderate handling abilities, mediocre interiors, they both 'drive big', plus a bunch of others that I can't think of off the top of my head.

Granted, some of those characteristics are shared with the Mustang but overall, the Camaro is more similar to the Challenger.

I've always juggled in my head to what I'd choose between the Challenger and the Mustang. And I'd think I'd have to go with the SRT8... and I would say that just because the Challenger is one hella good looking car.

I'd give up the extra .1 performance for the better looks, cooler car, and more exclusive ride.

Gotta agree with that. My local dealer has at least 8 Challengers on the lot, and it is simply a GREAT looking car.

Last time I checked was that the SRT8 and GT were both had the highest 1/4times of 13.2x... that is the true neck and neck race of this MY.
