Simple rules.

1. Never pay a premium - only reason would be the "got to have factor".... that fizzles fast and only pads the dealers profits.

2. Never pay MSRP - Cars are never worth MSRP anyway. It is only a suggested price, and I always suggest to pay less.

3. Never pay dealer fees - hundreds of dollars for what...a receipt. Get your own license and registration.
When I go and buy a 50" LCD TV, I don't pay store fees separately, its built in.

If this dealer won't play by these rules, some other dealer surley will. Remember time is money....more if you can not wait and less if you can, usually yielding the same result. my .02

Dealer in PA posted in regional forums that they were offering INVOICE on cars ordered by a certain date...check it out. Might be worth a flight and a nice road trip home.

Sorry...didn't realize you were talking ABM...so won't help you out.

Good luck...keep searching...surely there is someone sane enough to sell this car for MSRP or lower. There is no way in hell they demand a premium...especially at this point. As stated earlier...NEVER NEVER NEVER pay a premium.
