I can understand them limiting this to the v-6 engine, since this green isn't really an agressive color, also they want to boost v-6 output. I don't understand the 1LT and non-RS decision cause they can charge more and still build more v-6s. It's not like this color will sell so many v-6s that the CAFE will lower allowing more v-8s to be built. That might be their intentions, but I don't think it will work. They need to make some v-6 models with more performance upgrades for people to be interested.

So I'm a noob to this forum and have only had my 2SS for a week.... but I was curious about that spoiler which looks pretty hot. Can you get it for the 2SS? Where?

Maybe their demographics for SS buyers indicate that fewer people willing and able to shell out $35K+ for an SS would pick such a flashy color as this but people that can stretch their budget for a $25k 1LT would be younger and more likely to want a "look at me" color.

While you're driving around the next couple of days, take a look at the age of the drivers of any cars (import or domestic) that fall into this same type of color category (flashy/bright/couldn't miss it). I'd be willing to bet that most or nearly all are male and under 30 years old.

Only problem is........ It's only on the 1LT!!! Hey why not put it on the LS because you can't even get the RS package on the LS anyways so I bet you they would sell more of these...

That's a poor excuse. I'm sorry to say it, but there's now way in hell I'll change to a 1LT so I can have this. And I was geared towards ordering my 2SS as soon as it was possible... on the 1LT

I'm extremely disappointed with this decision... not enough to make me not want a Camaro, mind you... but still extremely disappointed.

Question for CamaroScotty.....have you heard anything on the interior for the Chroma Camaro? Was that a SEMA only interior or will it be offered in the near future. Also, any word on the dovetail spoiler?

argh! was really looking forward to green & black leather where mine is orange & black. i love the green it almost would match my 92 Z/28. love the spoiler as well for the same reason. no 2 SS/RS or Z/28 on this car is a deal breaker!!

That is completely retarted...so you neglect all the fans of Synergy Green that ARENT panzies who just want the look of a muscle car but dont want the real deal? Thats just stupid, and not to mention with the Transformer's Addition Camaro, the "Special Synergy V6" Camaro, the Black Edition Camaro, and the DE Camaro (whatever that is) how many different little special eddition versions are we gonna get here? Why dont we just make every color and stripe package a special edition, oh and they can be different special editions depending on whether they're fakey cars or packin the real deal V8! Sound like a great marketing strategy!

GM better be careful, they're gonna burn this car out reeaaall fast at this rate...and that means a lot from me cause im a HUGE die-hard Camaro fan
