You got me there.. I have a tendancy to live in the old school of being a mechanic back in the 80's. I also just remembered that 6 months ago if anyone would have told me I'd be driving a Camaro now, I would have said they were nuts. My wife even tried to get me to buy one and it was still.. no.

So just so I don't have to eat my words later.. I'll never say never!

1) The 4.5L DuraMax IS "shelved"...but NO bullet in the head...just yet...

2) It's my understanding that the same European-based company that makes the ECM of the LLT V6 (that, so far, has NOT been cracked) is seeking "assistance" in doing a "one-off" diesel Camaro for "possible production consideration"...

3) The HRM Drag Week Mustang does NOT run 9s AND get 30-some mpg AT THE SAME TIME...depends on the tune as to which happens, and when...

yeah, its not fully made to make a buttload of power (even tho it does), just mainly to help with the high altitudes. 2 atmospheric turbos pumping into a single compound turbo with the exhaust routed to the single then to the twins.

Sometime that battery is going to go out. These aren't triple A durcels were talkin here folks lol.
I teach motors and generators for a living... and this is precisely the point I make in class. If a car has batteries, it's imprint on the environment is not an imprint... it's a nuclear detonation. Over the life of a vehicle, a Hummer IS much friendlier on the environment than any car with batteries... atm.

Now if they can only get the supercapacitors to stop blowing up, it'd be a different ball game.
