Who manufactures those IROCs? I'd totally dig em' if they were in a satin finish with the centers painted black.

As far as I've seen, they're only in chrome. Oasis and Wheel Replicas make them. You can find them all over the net by searching " chrome IROC wheels".

Whats with American manufactures and shiny chrome wheels. Honestly they seem to be the only ones doing it. I reall don't want to have to sell my 20's to buy better 19's. I'm already going to have to buy 18's or 19's with snows on them. I'd like to just select that option when I build the car.

I mean these 18''s are nice, but I much prefer the 20's.

How long before we (Gawd I hope not, but for the sake of argument while we're talking about chromed and shiny rims) see some gangsta dudes pimp a Camaro out with the bling bling spinners?

If that ever happens

Not long. I have noticed a pattern that apparently, the less stable your financial situation, the more money you have to spend on stupid shit.

The more I look at it. The more I see parts of the plastic bumper Gen 2, my old blue.. well sky blue 78 base. The rims looked very much like these. Sorry I don't have any pics of it I had the car in the early 80's.

The front bumper bottom part / front edge looks just like the 78's plastic front end. I remember they scratched up easy too. Watch them curbs.

Found this pic in google search..

Are you joking or just being stupid? Chevy is trying to give options for poor folks like me. I drove over 100,000 on those 78 steels with no problems. They even crashed into a few curbs without major dmg.

You do realize that someone can buy the base car and just upgrade the rims later? In gen 1 and gen 2 the wheel industry was small at best.

I think actually they steelies will be pimp because most won't have them.
