I had an ABM SS, and I loved the car but got to the point where I was living in one location and the car was being stored in another location 45 minutes away, I rarely even got to see it because of work and weather through that fall & winter, and ultimately I found myself losing interest in it. Same situation where I had only been putting 400-500 miles a year on it at the most. I made the mistake of trading it. You got to remember that once it’s gone it’s gone. ABM’s are hard to find especially nice ones as the 2010’s get older. if I was in that situation again, I wouldn’t get rid of it, I’d drive it more and enjoy it the way it’s supposed to be. Funny thing is I now 2 years later I find myself in the market for an ABM SS again. Only hoping I can find one as nice as my car was, low mileage and pretty clean.

You can get the real old style ones in California. If I remember the cost was 3k.

A quick snapshot of today's bathing activities. Car treated me right with an excellent performance at our first Auto X this past weekend so I rewarded the Z with a good scrub down.

If I remember correctly, wasn't that car 160 of the 3,903 as well? It was a nice looking car. Is it still around the south central PA area anymore or has it, like mine, moved on elsewhere?

Thanks for the reminder of the low build number it was, last I knew the number was 162. I know your number changed once or twice since then so maybe mine had changed too or maybe not. Same guy still has it in the area last I knew of.

That’s gotta be torture believing it’s close by, I know it would drive me nuts anyway. I see them come up out on this side of the country from time to time with decent mileage. I wish you luck in finding another one. Your old one was bad ass. ABM truly is the best color of the 5th gen. I don’t care what anyone says.
