If we spoke to 10,000 Canadians and asked "will you be satisfied with Silver metal?" I believe 9,000 would say no, we NEED a gold. I'm not Canadian, but I'm a huge fan. Given the god like talent of this Canadian machine, they must win Gold or BUST. IMagine for a second, the AMerican "DREAM TEAM" basketball team. However, I did watch the game and that had to be the most exciting hockey game I have seen in recent memory...both teams 'played their hearts and souls out', and both teams deserve a huge 'thumbs up' for a job well done...

I cannot believe the things some folks post on here...I happen to think the teams were very evenly matched and it was an exciting game...if the USA wasn't playing Canada, I would have cheered for my Canadian friends!!!...

While it was a good game , and nothing can change the final results ... luck (and Ryan Miller) played a big role. There was a time or two when we should have gotten a goal, and a time or two when the US shouldn't have gotten one. Ah well. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Fact is, we lost and have to play an extra game. We can regroup against Germany, then its on to the Russians.
