Not everyone wanted your head. I certainly didn't. To help you feel you did right for posting the original findings of the Airraid issue, a BIG THANK - YOU goes out to you too. Now with both your findings and Scrmings, people will see there is something not right in the Airraid system. Hopefully the get this corrected. I had them on the top of my list and was ready to make the purchase until a couple weeks ago when the wheels feel off and things were no longer as they appeared.

Yes, but only due to removing the factory windshield washer bottle.

The filter itself can be reached from under the car, after installed.

I didn't even know you did an Airraid test. I have never been big on their CAI, so I just haven't been payin attention to their product.

Calm down man, it's thanks to you that this problem was even identified in the first place, so props to you for that!

I'm going to do my best to try and find a local shop to do another dyno for me. I will make sure it's not the same type and make sure hood is closed for both tests. If I get any type of loss I will be more then a little upset lol.

1. Admit there is a problem and fix it (for free) or
2. Admit there is a problem and refund everyone's money or
3. Explain in specific technical terms why others can't replicate their dyno results.

If they indeed have put so much R&D into this, then they must have a pretty good understanding of why it would or would not work on different cars.
Yeah, I think I agree. In my book it's ok to make a mistake every once in a while, it's how the person/company handles the mistake that's important.

I think I said it in the other thread, but I'll say it again, THANK YOU!

There is no way any of those solutions will happen. It would cost them tens of thousands of dollars. Any let's be honest..do you really think there's a good specific reason for this? I highly doubt it. The same as I doubt anyone will replicate Vararams claims of 35hp gains.

Now, if I'm wrong, that would be awesome. But I just don't see a refund or recall at their expense.

Hi scrming, thanks for all your work on this project.
I'm not sure if you remember last summer 97 one and myself commented that I saw no increase in 0 to 60 times on my excelerometer with the airaid eather, and had a slight hesitation when taking off. but I did show a small gain in the axle back. Well at least I know that the xmeter did give a sign of this.
Thanks again.

Wow. I was just about to order the Airaid system, when I stumbled on this thread. Great stuff guys. I think I'll hold off on this and wait for more information to come out.
