Your car sounds and looks great. I've decided to just do the Kooks 6511 (1 7/8" long tube catted) headers. I am going to leave the stock exhaust for now. The reason is that I have the A6 and some folks report some drone at cruising speeds if I don't use the stock exhaust.

I just put a CAI intake in the car yesterday (all I can say about that is YAHOO!). The CAI has added some of that V8 throaty growl at high throttle I was looking for as well as better acceleration response. So, I am next going to do the headers to see how far that takes my car. If I'm still not quite satisfied, then I can add the exhaust later.

I ordered the Kooks headers from IPS Motorsports on Friday (those guys are GREAT to deal with!). They said it would take about 2 weeks to get them. They are going to install the headers along with the Pfadt sport suspension+ package for me.

Thanks to all for your advice.
