Great idea, with lots of time to plan it out!

I nominate the Laurus Foundation, they help wounded solders with rehabilitation techniques not used by military! We have two local families in IL that need their support.

Yeah, I don't remember which member it is, but he's having his car wrapped in support of Wounded Warrior Foundation.

Great idea.

Another to consider is this one:

http://www.nswfoundation.org/

I've donated to them before, and it helps out the families of U.S. Navy SEAL's killed in action. :flag2:

It's on a Thursday, but it does kind of commemorate the anniversary.

I know one thing, after the C5 Fest, we do need to pick a date for this. Everyone does need to start giving it some thought.

Not to be presumptuous or anything, but I bet that could happen. They're definitely going to need to know about this in advance though, last time they ran out of pies....

I'd still vote for August 26th since we all were able to make it out for free pizza (plus Papa John probably chose the middle of the week for a reason). However, a lot of the Papa John's in my area do not have a huge parking lot to host a car show. So maybe if we could...at the very least...commit to taking our Camaro's to Papa Johns on the same day.
This is true- weekends are busy already, and might complicate matters. If we do a weekday, it will have to be later in the day so people can make it after work. 5:30 or 6 should still provide plenty of daylight in August, but maybe I'm over complicating things by setting a time. An all-day thing is probably best

Ben, you bring up a good point about trying to do it during a weekday, late afternoon / early evening! After the Fest, I am going to have to try to contact Papa Johns and find out if they're game.

And zebra, the 26th of August is the anniversary from last year...maybe this would be a good day to target?! Hopefully you will be able to make it then!!!
