Hey it was great to meet all of you this morning! Loved seeing all the perma grins after your runs and after the rides with Jim Guthrie. All we need now is the weather to be better on weekends, it's going to be a great summer of get togethers. All of you have awesome cars!!!

I just got home. With mother's day and all I was having a retractable awning installed at my mom's after the track event. What a great event! Thanks Curt for setting that all up. Those of you that didn't make it, I think it was more than worth waking up for. I have to be one of the Permagrin's Tom is referring to. Jim Guthrie was awesome, and boy oh boy can that man DRIVE! Also the driving tips he gave me really made a difference. I let him drive me in my car, and he showed me what she's capable of, then he rode shotgun giving me all kinds of pointers like which line to take, when to brake, how to steer, pretty much everything! Thanks Jim! Then I got to ride in his Vette that's all decked out for the track, and it was amazing.

Here are some pics I took for those that couldn't make it.

Very sorry for not making this one. When I woke up this morning, which by the way was on time, oh well anyway, the wind was blowin so hard that I just said a few choice words and got back in bed. I hope there was a good turnout, and also that all had fun. Curt: I especially would like to apologise to you sir, I know you went to a lot of trouble to set this all up and I'm sure everyone appreciates all your effort. Well sounds like I missed a good time
if we had a smilely of a guy kickin him self in the a$$ I would have chose it.

Nice work Larry....any pics of our Chips??!!

&*%$$!@!!!

LMAO...

Guys who didn't go.....I hear that this is going down again 2 weeks from today.Honestly, this was the best $20 I spent in the last 10-11 years. I shit you not. Dudes opened up their doors for us, cooked us all breakfast, had coffee, all kinds of drinks, oh....all the track you could take for a solid 2-3 hours....oh yeah, some freak of nature giving free instruction (and rides in his tracked out ZO6..WOOT! BTW)...

For $20.

Come on, more people paid twice this to see a disappointing Ironman 2 this weekend.

Rediculous.

Next time guys and gals. Next time.

Again, BIG THANKS to Curtis and Jim for taking care of us today.

Thank you,
Ivan !
