Hey SSOOCH.....after seeing your car posted here I went down and bought some Meguiar's NXT liquid wax last night. I had already washed the car Friday and it's garaged so I only had to pull it out, dust it off, then used a wet towel to clean a few spots. I spent about an hour this afternoon putting it on and WOW....looks real good. The SHINE is great. I just watch my wife drive off to pick up the kids from school.... Between the wax job and the lowering springs I just installed on Friday...I'm......

I've only had my car about 10 wks.....I still go out in the garage and just stare at it sometimes.

I used Zaino on the car within a couple days of owning it but I think the Mequiars gave it more of a shine. I'm not a detail expert but for me the Zanio seems to be great for older paint jobs that need to be polished and brought back to life. I've used it on some of our First Gens with great success. But with a new paint job like on our Camaros I'm actually happier with the results of the Meguiars. It feels extremely smooth to the touch as well. Something that wasn't as prominent to me after using Zaino. I'm sure if I would've done 3, 4, or 5 coats of Zaino like they recommend I could've gotten there but I only needed 1 coat with the Meguiar's NXT.

Thanks for the heads up! I might try to get a couple pics when my wife gets back with the kids.

It's a little cloudy today.....definately more SHINE in person but you can get an idea.

Use the NXT on your flat vinyl stripes. I do it all the time and then just hand buff them out real good and they will be like brand new. It moisturizes them and shines them right up....good luck!

Like my Dad would always tell me. There's one pointing at me and four pointing at you!

I still don't get it. He was Mexican, didn't speak English too well.

Well now I feel totally guilty for not having washed my car lately. Tomorrow it's on!!

BTW, has anybody else used the Meguiars tire gel? It works great (and smells awesome) but splatters & leaves spots EVERYWHERE if you don't let it dry for at least a couple days before driving it. I reckon it's time for new tire stuff.

All the factory wheels on the SS....including the polished ones are clear coated. Wash with soap and water and dry off with a towel. That's what I do.

I thought I'd throw up some more pics. I noticed that folks that use Zaino have really close up shots that they post so here are mine with NXT 2.0!
