Apparently Chevy is paying CarandDriver in this one to be the winner even when camaro's got the worst interior it is slower than the genesis coupe and takes longer to stop.. how is possible for it to be the winner??? is there money involved in this??

but then in this one it looks like Hyundai paid better than the rest kuz even though the mustang was the fastest with a better interior better suspension out of all four genesis coupe took first place!!!

Well, its not always for sure, but in this case it is. And with a HUGE advantage to my mind. A little bit of speed u always can buy for amount of money, which camaro cheaper... But u cant pay any money being stang owner to castrate this ugly rear end of the car and truckkind interior.

And one other thing.... Never even thought the american magz(drivers, camaro/mustang/chalanger owners) will even stand close to the fact of comparing their legendary muscles with korean shit... THAT is sad:(

Who wants to bet... that with that $2.5K (extra cash you didn't spend on a Mustang) you could spend it on your Camaro mods and it would squash that Mustang in the 1/4 mile!

Personally, I wouldn't spend 30+k on a V-6 Camaro or Mustang! But the Camaro is by far the better deal!!!
well I heard that GM is redesigning the camaros poor interior for the 2011 camaro so don't worry about those 2.5k they're gonna need them they're not gonna do it for free.

But even if they don't mess with the poor interior and decide to tweak up the hp a little instead they're not gonna do it for free either. That's the reason why the mustang is more expensive because ford has already done to it what GM is about to do to the camaro which was making it faster with a better interior. That's it Mustang v6/gt rules!

Personally me thinking interior is outstanding at the moment. The whole car is outstanding in any way. And yeah, mustang rules, challenger rules even more. But after all CAMARO IS A KING.

Since you wish to insult other countries and their people, explain to us how someone from an eastern European socialist wasteland (Belarus) can afford a high priced American car in its 1st year of release.

What fraud or other illegal activity are you or the real owners of the car (parents) involved in?

It might be a king for those who love it but for the rest of us it's just another car that will be looking at the Mustang's rear end every time now that Ford is making their own engines.

Plus what makes u think that it's the king? like I said before I see more Mustangs on the street than camaros and it's not because they're cheaper instead they're more expensive.

But how about both cars are some bad asses lol

U see 2005-2011 mustangs vs 2010 camaros. Some time huh? Better look 2010 sale stats.
As for both bad asses. IT IS.

But if to talk about owners of this beasts... Well, i didnt see even 1 camaro owner coming mustangsource.com for his ego-trip... Even in the last year, when stang had those terrible 4.0 and good, but too old 4.6... I dont see challanger owners here trying to justify their choice spamming camaro5.com or mustangsource.com Im sure nothing will change after new engines on dodge come out.

Im not speak about u personally, but im reading a lot of other threads... Trolls after trolls. A lot. At least i have a car, which giving me the right to defend it here, in this thread vs the car, which is didnt even being compared to camaroat real tracks with real owners.

PS:want u to know, its a hard work for me to try to explain thing in language, which im using once a year. SO if speech looking childish or a lot of mistakes - there is a reason for that.

Important point

Hi guys,

I dont post a lot on this forum but i read it everyday! The thing that some of the people noticed and some not is that all the mustangs V6 that have been tested and provided by Ford for the press came with the Performance Package, which is a $1995.00 option, this package offer the 19 inch stylish wheels, better gears (closer), GT brake pads, and some of the GT suspension components for the rear live axle to remedy its shortcomings comparing to the Camaro's IRS. I know everything about this car because as I stated before on other threads, I was in the market for a 2011 Mustang V6 and I ended up going back to my dream car which is the Camaro. The Mustang V6 I tested (2 of them in two different dealers) didn't have the performance package, just plain ol' V6 with no modifications, let me tell you all that the car was not on par with the Camaro and sounded heavy at times, especially on the first and second gears, by the third gear the car starts to shine, both cars tested performed the same way, I even remember telling my dad that about the mustang that all numbers seem to agree that the Mustang is the faster car (NOT the better though) but I cant feel that!! I remember him telling me that maybe we should go to another dealer and try a second one and this is when I tried the second car and my opinion didnt change! The car (without the Performance Package) feels slower than the Camaro. Im looking forward to see a comparison between a V6 Camaro/RS and a V6 Mustang Premium (w/o Performance Package). The Camaro when I drove it, I felt like the seat is pushing me forward at almost all gears!
Now this why I think the Camaro is better than the V6 Mustang (even with Performance Package):
1)The chassis is mad old dated to way before 2005 when the car first came out
2)Live rear axle (really? in 2010 and still live rear axle)
3)Radio antenna and the back of the car which gives it a less modern look (Camaro's antenna is integrated in the windshield)
4)The V6 dual exhaust on 2011 is ugly and the tips cannot be changed unless the exhaust is replaced by a Magnaflow or similar!
5)The remote key looks mad cheap, especially comparing to the Camaro cool remote key!
6)No sunroof! If you need some sun from the roof you need to buy the glass roof option for $1995 and you have to live with the fact that you will have a big, ugly piece of vinyl covering your head when you dont want the sun anymore!
7)The automatic is not that great because when you floor it the engine is not as responsive as the Camaro V6.

Well, exactly what im saying. No package - no advantage vs Camaro. Yes package - a free money for camaro to mod and be as fast.

Nice to hear at last the opinion of the person, who touched things and know what he is talking about instead of operating the MT marketing numbers.

Hate to talk not so good words about great car in every aspect (except of rear end design), but the trolling with MT numbers make me sick.

I am happy you like the Camaro so much, BUT why do you insist on on trashing everything else? Some reason you are trying to make yourself feel better about your purchase? Also you realize you don't have to get the 1995 performance package to get the 3.31 gears, it is a $395 option on the manual of automatic right now. Pricing is similar between the 2 option for option, get over it and enjoy your Camaro. The Mustang IS the better handler and IS quicker, and still offers morem available options than the Camaro. And expect the 2011 Camaro prices to get a decent jump too. They are all great cars with different personatilities, if you have to work so hard to try and justify your purchase, maybe you chose the wrong one for you?
