isnt that where the airbag would come out for the passanger? turning that little piece of plastic into a projectile?

I like the emblem tho

I decided an emblem would go nicely here as well, but as some of the posters have said, it is an old style emblem and I am going with the modern theme on mine personally. Here's the SS badge from Emblempros I chose -stainless with black insert - that does the job perfectly IMHO (even though I still like the retro badge)...

Nope. Those were on the trunk lid and the upper front valance.
