Where are your statistics to back up your claim? so far according to this pole, if you weed out the ones that shouldn't have voted in the first place over 90% of V6 owners would dissagree with you...

I know of a young couple with 2 young children who could get into a LS because of the price. They could care less how fast it goes. They are not unhappy because it doesn't have a V8. They enjoy the car. Isn't that what it's all about? I'm done here.

Absolutely satisfied with my V6! This was my first new car and I bought it not long after graduating college so the LS pricing was perfect for me.

I can afford a V8, have owned V8s, I wanted a V6. Do I plan on some mild mods? Hells yes, sleepers are sweet! Its a daily driver and lets face it, I am too old to be out racing with you young whippersnappers!

I just don't understand what their problem is.. I surely can understand their justification for buying a V8, why can't they understand ours for not buying one?

Not voting, since I traded mine. I had bought the V6 because I thought it would get better gas mileage. My only complaints were the torque and the brakes.
I don't have those two problems now. But, I do have a bigger problem with the V8... I may end up spending 2/3 the cost of the 2LT on mods for the 2SS

Couldn't be happier, kept my payments down, gas mileage good (for now), and allowed me more money to do all sorts of badass mods to it and have fun with it. The car is great.

I LOVE my V8.....could not care less what type a person buy's. They spend their money on something they want, I spend mine on something I want. I personally like the torque of the V8 manual over the driving experience I had while testing the V6.
This is a pointless poll.....like asking people to argue about what ice cream they like. It's ice cream...how bad can any of it be? It's my money, I buy what I want. It's your money, buy what you want. I'm not racing you, I'm just enjoying what I have. |

I am happy with the performance... I should have reconsidered my choices in exterior and interior packages. That I suppose can be pieced together. I have considered getting a V8, but trying to tell my girlfriend she is going to have to pick some more bills and get a part time job is tough...
Not too mention someone would have to find me an ABM SS.

I basically asked myself this question...
"If the 304 HP V6 was a 304 HP V8, would you get the 304 HP V8 or the 426 HP V8?" My answer was the 304 HP V8. Which means that if I had have bought the V8, it would have been solely vanity. I couldn't muster up the extra $7,000+ for vanity. And they ended up giving us another 8 HP... Haha.
