I like my CHEVY camaro.

wow, this is a surprise, with all the texting,internet chat languages, nicknames and acronyms for everything today and dumbing down of the English language lately into a bunch of made-up words and sentence fragments, i'm surprised that Chevrolet is moving in this direction!

I've always said Chevy. However, I usually call the Camaro and Corvette by the name alone without the brand.

I own a Chevy Camaro, not a Chevrolet Camaro. most marketing words are less then then 3 syllables for a reason (etc.. dodge (1), ford (1), chevy(2), gm(2) pepsi(2), coke(1) ..

You if you were marketing your brand you wouldn't want slang to be used in official documentation. I don't see GIXXER in official Suzuki releases.

Guys, you're missing what this is all about. This isn't about anyone not being allowed to use Chevy, this is about GM consistently using Chevrolet in their advertising and stuff. If you want to say Chevy, you can do so, just read the second article in the first post.

Besides, this was an internal memo, not an announcement or whatever.
