It is huge, and I love it. I love any and all pony cars. I had '92 and '94 Firebird V8s.

I don't hate; I appreciate.

As for the Mustang, the interior is nice but cheap, the 2010+ I really dont like the back but ehhh I could live. My dad's GT is a 2007 and has a great deal of mods. He should have just got a GT500 for what he has in it. Its supercharged and all that... its scary fast, not in a good way. It can put you in a ditch stat if you arent ready for it.

In your case, look for a good clean 3rd gen from out west. Now is the time to get one. The prices are actually starting to go up but there are some good ones still out there. I got lucky with finding mine. It was in very good shape. It did need the tranny rebuilt and it needs paint but ohter then that its all orginal and zero rust. Watch for the common rust areas and they are prone to electrical gremilins but a good late 80s Z~28/IROC could be had pretty reasonable. I gave $5000 for this one in this condition with LOTS of sentimential value. you could probably do better is you looked but I would have paid more. To me $5000 was a steal for THIS particular car due to condition and history.

Last I heard, this one was for sale... LOL! I saw it in person, its stunning but priced very high!

Another size comparo... not my SS

The C5 for sure has got "BACK". POW, it's out there.

It's funny. The Camaro guys talk about how big the Challenger is, and the Mustang guys talk about how big the Camaro is.

The Lotus guys laugh at all of us.

I agree. I always wonder how anyone bigger than myself fits comfortably in the car especially those with a sunroof. I'm only 5'7" I guess the seat adjustment lowered and leaned back makes this possible?

True, but the torque our cars make would rip a Lotus frame into pieces. lol

Yeah, I also think the Camaro, along with the Challenger, is quite big. The Mustang just seems more nimble to me. I'm really curious about the supposedly smaller 6th gen Camaro. Hope my 4th gen will last until then!

djm96z28: Here's the strange part... the Camaro dimensions are just a tiny bit bigger than the Mustang. It's about 1.5" wider and 2.5" longer, yet the Mustang is about 1.5" taller.

Remember that Americans are getting larger on average, and this must be taken into consideration: larger people need larger cars.
Very true, ever try sitting in a 63-67 Vette? I think those are built for guys that are 5ft 8 and 160 lbs. I'm 6ft 1, 215lbs, pretty average, and I had to practically shoehorn myself into it. Now try sitting in a C6 Vette, huge difference

The only thing big about the Camaro in my opinion is its' rear. And that's just how I like it.
