Gemini

That is awesome news! I'm so stoked to see a ABM. Black is the most popular color, so admittedly I'll be slightly jealous of your uniqueness.

I never knew you could follow the rail across country when my car was coming in. That is probably a good thing. I just kept wondering.....blissfully unaware of when the car would arrive. I figured it would be a surprise "happy day."

Gemini, mine sat at the rail yard for a day and a half but that's because it arrived on a Saturday. Keep on your dealer to get that car to you NOW!!!

Funny/Bizarre

Here's a good one. None you you know me well enough yet to know that there are certain things that only I have the ability to do. Generally speaking this is tripping, spilling, or random acts of embarrassment. BUT, even I never thought this could happen:

Late the other night I opened the freezer side of our fridge, as I did a box of white-tip kitchen matches fell from the top of the fridge. The second it hit the ground... WHOOOSH! Every single match (250 of them) ignited. Flames shot out both sides of the box which was of course was followed by the acrid smell of sulfur and a massive amount of smoke. Relying on my quick reactions (which have been likened to that of a house plant) I grabbed the box, ran to the back door (which of course was locked and dead bolted) to throw the box on the patio. I bet if you dropped a box of these matches 500 times it wouldn't happen again!

This story is now on the top of the list and has moved the previous event to slot #2. That being the time I was returning a set of keys I had borrowed from an employee. I dropped them right as I was handing them to her...where did they fall? Right between the floor crack in the elevator and down the shaft.

Here is what I found out...

My dealer called thought they would have been able to get the car off the rail car today and then in for all of its car things tomorrow. I would then have gone in Saturday to pick her up.

Well as luck would have they are not ready to unload it yet. If he could go in the morning to pick it up and then drive it to Riverton get it detailed and I could have it for the weekend to drive. But then I would have to bring it back Monday or Tuesday to have the Bra , Tint and other things done.

I thought long and hard and its going to drive me crazy to do this but I think I am better off to wait until its all finished up in there shop and then inspect and pick it up. I have terrible luck with things and I would probably get a few rock chips then it might look funny when I got the clear bra on. So with that said yes I am very happy it has made it to Utah I still want to go to the rail yard tonight and see if I can see it out there.

The weather is going to be really bad next week but I know I can at least see her in my garage. then on first day that the weather is nice I will take a day off work my boss already said that was fine. I figure with in a Week I should have my car for good. At least I will be present for our Picture taking day on the 7th .. Not sure how the weather will be for the Magna car show ..

Thanks for all your support you all are such great friends.

Lisa, you should be a writer. You definitely have a way with words that can bring to mind the exact image of what has happened. I was laughing so hard that a co worker came to check on me. I hope nothing was damaged in the process. BTW.... I can totally relate, I tend to have my fair share of embarrassing moments.

Thanks! I like leisure writing much much more than the boring legal stuff! I'm sure at some point my (and possibly yours) unique ability to do something spectacular will emerge for all of us to see.

I give my express permission to be laughed at and made fun of.
