Many make the mistake of look at the performance numbers of the V6 but the price of the I4. The performance numbers of most of the I4 sedans are pretty pathetic when compared to a comparably priced hot hatchback.

3,500 pounds give or take, 335HP, and an 8 speed auto is going to result in one very quick V6.

I disagree... that looks good. It's a retro styled car.

Oh yes! Had a bit of wax ridge residue after removing my previous stripes, and wanted to ensure the surface was flawless before I installed my new SW900 Bumble Bees. So took my SS to a highly recommended detail manager for minor swirl correction & pro machine polishing. I knew the moment my car was finished (4.5hrs later), because I heard my Solo's unmistakable rumble & that lil' backfire that makes me smile every time I crank the engine! As I walked towards the service bay window, I bumped into a LEXUS sales or service manager (?) a few steps from the service pickup bay door. He was peering curiously at my car (like me!) and appeared to be heading straight towards it! When he realized it was mine, he began complimenting & asking the usual... "What have you got under the hood, HP, exhaust", etc. I proudly popped the hood & gave him the "It's mostly stock" spiel. He said, "Really beautiful car, still looks & smells like new. Would never have guessed it's a '13... And this engine bay looks incredible! It's obvious the GUY who PREVIOUSLY OWNED her took great care and put a lot of $ & time in here. I know you are going to really enjoy driving it!"
...I didn't bother correcting the nice gentleman. I'm sure the previous owner (a former C5 forum member) was great to her. However, since I was handed the key & title to my SSRS last August, I've personally spent every spare weekend: detailing, upgrading, customizing, installing my first mod's (by MYSELF!) then hiding the boxes!, or squirreling away AutoZone bags until my husband is out of sight. I admit I had my panties in a twist about the "compliment", until I asked the Lexus cashier to correct my service ticket and later realized the man had probably seen my SS key fob that was tagged, "2000 COROLLA"???

I mostly get more love than hate but you do come across those people...
"...Its a 2010? Why didn't you get a new one?" At the time this WAS the new one. Ive HAD my CAMARO. You just got yours...your new to this. Ive been living this lol! ![]() 90% of the people who have something negative to say about the Camaro drive a f***ing bucket ass car or a Prius. I always pay attention to what the get into after (if their negative) and make sure to rev my engine as I drive off

unlike most of the guys on this forum or I run into, I'm no car enthusiast.. I just bought my camaro because it's a beautiful car, I don't care much for the performance especially since my first car was a 98 Chrysler Cirrus so "it's just a V6" statements don't bother me... heck I actually learned a hell of a lot from this forum
