5days aint nothing; i am on day 10-11 now. Dealers response, nothing we can expedite, it waits for the truck to be filled with cars coming to the same area.

to the others that are waiting see if you can find if your car was marked as a sold order, i found out recently that mine was not marked as a sold car and that is where everything went wrong for me.

At the track

A quick pose while at the track. Haven't had time to get a serious photo shoot w/ the DSLR in yet but took this one at the track with a long lens. This car is simply stunning. An absolute blast to drive. I put about 420 miles on it this weekend. I'd like to get to that magic 1500 light break-in number before storage and then really have fun in the spring.

Best of luck to all of you guys still waiting. I know, like everyone said it's sooooo worth it. Despite some dealers being not all that great to work with...

Nice! Looks familiar, nice choice. I'm really happy w/ the matte black stripes from the factory. What color you getting painted on?

Just got home from a long and very fun weekend. We put 479 miles on my VW R32, 245 on Saturday on a benefit ride, then the rest going to my wifes, brothers wedding on Sunday. On the way home we took the long way back so we could drive thru my dealers lot with the hope that my Camaro came in during the weekend. Drove around the lots on both sides of the building and nothing. We then stopped and the wife gets out to look in the service bay windows. She looks at the car on the left, and says, I don't even know what it is, then turns to the car in the right bay and she screams,, OHHHHHHHHHHH THERE IT IS. Now I knew I was going to be excited when the Camaro got here, and I knew my wife was also going to be excited. I was totally suprised to see my wife just crying as she looked in the window and said, IT IS SO PRETTY. I should be getting that call from my dealer tomorrow and would hope to pick Him up tomorrow after work. Tomorrow is going to be the longest day of work in years...

Motorhed,
Our cars are the same as far as I can tell. I have 560 miles on it now. I love driving it. It took a little while to get used to the clutch. But I have that down now. Gave it a bath this afternoon.

I also like the matt stripes. I just wanted to do something a little different and decided that adding my own stripes would be a nice way to make it unique. The stripes will look like this. I am taking it in for the paint in the morning and hope to have it back by the end of the week. In the mean time I will be driving my 10 year old Ford truck with 242,000 miles on it. Thats a hell of a switch.

If you are like me you will not get any work done. All I could think about was getting my car. I haven't felt like that since I was a kid.

Hi all,
My wife Diane and I got out for our first real drive today.
Drove up Vermont Rt 108, through Smugglers Notch, to Stowe Vt. Stopped for lunch in Stowe, then down Vermont Rt 100, the back home up Vermont I-89. We had a great drive!!!

A fun part of the trip was watching as a truck passed us on the highway, with a young boy who just stared at the Camaro with his mouth open the whole time they drove by!!

Here are a few pictures:

going into day 8 just sitting in the lot at stank newark new jersey, i cant believe they allow this to go on.
supposedly the dealer did mark my car as "sold", but they have chosen to deliver tons of un-sold camaros to the lot for the holiday weekend...trucks have been dropping them off everyday they tell me, while mine sits there and collects dust... drove by my dealership and counted 15 camaros, all 2011's. maybe tomorrow will be my day

my daily driver is a 2000 grand cherokee w/ 165k on the odo...i know what you're saying. I'm going to shed a tear when i have to drive it to work and all winter....oh well. A testament to how well GM did on the Camaro.

Hang in there. There may be camaro's on the lot... but "Yours", is ordered the way you want it, strait from the factory, and it will be here soon. It's worth the wait.
