Right, it might sound a lil better, but thats it. Not worth the time/money

Any updates on your build or have I missed it?

You didn't miss anything. PCM of NC has been working pretty diligently, and I've been talking to Kelly through facebook. As of today, everything is almost back together but they ran into a snag with the pushrod length. The deck height of the PRC heads are much taller and the pushrods they have in stock aren't tall enough. I need 7.550 pushrods, and they will have them in tomorrow morning. They said they should be able to fire her up and start tuning tomorrow.

I'm sure I will be happy too, but it's so hard waiting and not knowing what to expect! I keep being skeptical about making 500rwhp because of my baseline numbers (405rwhp/399tq), but at the same time, it's all in the tune, so you never know. I'm pretty sure they will spend all day tuning tomorrow, and will probably keep it until Friday just to make sure everything is perfect. I have a four day weekend (memorial day) this weekend, so fortunately I may be able to swing down there in time to meet and greet and hopefully get to see atleast a couple pulls in person.

No matter what the final numbers are I'm sure it will perform like a mofo!!!!

The point we are trying to make is that you already have high flow cats installed. As far as emissions go, there's no difference between your setup and LT's with high flow cats. For the most part, HFC's are HFC's. Solo doesn't have magical HFC's. About the only ones that are drastically different are the Kooks green cats. They cost almost as much as their headers though.

I would like to get your opinions on getting torque rather than getting hung up on hp numbers? What are some of the best mods for torque? You know the old saying tq wins races.

I understand what you mean axis..I only bought the solos because there is nothing about them throwing codes on here..the jba hi flows seem to be hit and miss...if I think back I would have just went with long tubes with cats, but at the time I wasn't going to do headers ..but you know how it goes.

Torque also breaks a lot of stuff. Might want to address your suspension and drivetrain too.

Simple things would be to stick with a 2.5" exhaust instead of going with 3". You take away the restriction you will gain hp but will lose it on the tq side. Some of the little things like that will get little gains. As far as all out tq, your are gonna need boost or LS7 IMO.

I haven't heard anything recently. Waiting on Kelly to shoot me a message, and trying not to bug her too much lol. I'm trying not to think about it, as weird as that sounds hahaha. I feel like I'm the father in the waiting room, waiting for my son or daughter to be born.
