Don't hurry!!!! Won't be able to get into the track until after 5 pm tomorrow. Alanabi Racing has the track rented until then and NO ONE gets in until after they leave. Not even letting vendors in until then...

Not true, just got of the phone with GTAHVIT who is in touch with the track and vendors/sponsors can get in the track before 5PM.

so i had a full day planned - sleep in, clean Penny, warsh clothes, pack, go to work for about an hour (just to make sure nobody's set the equipment on fire), come home, get some rest, wake up super early & roll out.

i got to sleep in & started making breakfast... then my boss calls about 10:45 & says 'hey, can you come in? i've got a good project for you..."

i ate, piddled around a bit, & then went in. from noon to 7 i got sawdust all over me, all over the truck, in the truck & now that i'm home, i get to eat (which i'm doing as i type), clean Penny in the dark, do clothes, pack, and hopefully get a couple hours of sleep before i leave.

hey... at least i just recouped some of this weekend's expenses

Man this looks like a sweet well organized event. Hope to make it next year. Should have a 5th gen in the fleet by then.

I got as close as the airport and Delta canceled my flight due to technical difficulties. I am so disappointed. Hope all of you arrive safely and have a GREAT TIME.

Had the most incredible thing happen today during the group cruise. Me and another SS Camaro got a police escort back to the main group and topped speeds of over 130 mph for several miles. If the SS camaro reads this please contact me would like to talk to you about it. I have always seen cop cars chasing cars but never seen a cop car get chased by to camaros. Thank you officer who ever you were for a memory of a life time. That alone made the trip worth it.
