Yeah I'll be at the strip tonight. Richards saving his Benjamins for a new driveshaft still but he told me that he was probably gonna go check it out. Will we see you there?

I am planning on it. How do you get a hold of one of the guys from the track? I want to try out a piece on equipment to clean the sand off the track.

(915) 240-6507 or (915) 590-0008

That would be so sweet if you could clean the dirt off

Hey John did you run again last night? I think if I am going to get down into the low 12's I need better tires. When I ran the 12.8 I was spinning all of first and about 3/4's of second. I still cant launch as it will just spin. My last run the track was really geting loose so I called it quits for the night. I was kind of proud that the bikes were only a couple of tenths faster and I was the fastest street car I saw run. Line lock is a real need as well.

I got a 13.6 pass at 107! Not too bad. Seems as though my time and speed are really determined on that additional gear change to fourth. At .5s loss per shift I'm nearly loosing a second and a half shifting which could correlate to a possible .5s gain if I shift faster. Always seems like my most common gear miss is second. :-(

well the most common gear missed should be the 2nd to 3rd shift since you have to go in two directions (up and to the right) so if your missing 2nd then your shifting to early or to late. The times you do get into 2nd does it bog down? Are you spinning a lot off the line? (I don't think you should with the new tires)

Nah not spinning and not bogging either. The 2nd gear miss is usually my error nothing with the car I'm sure.
