Haha for real man, I'll give you a set of those HID DRLs I was talking about. Consider it as a welcome gift from the club as a whole! And it'll be your first mod so you won't have to worry about "being stock" anymore, haha.



And you should have seen when I showed up at my first ACE5 meet. I believe it was Joe, Franscisco, JT, Ken, Adam, and a few other people. Joe showed up in his shiny IOM Callaway, polished to perfection. My camaro was DISGUSTING. It was literally caked with dust and dirt and it was stuck on there from rain spots. I hadn't had time to wash it since getting back from school, so it had gone a good month or so without a wash. Seriously, made my camaro look disgusting. Not to mention everybody there had a good 10 years on me in age, so I was ready to feel intimidated.

But when I showed up it was great! Everybody introduced themselves, complimented my stock camaro (and everyone was sitting there with dozens of mods on their camaros!). It was a great feeling to finally find that club where everybody shares your passion. We checked out the local Chevy dealership and went to grab a bite to eat. Good clean fun, talked cars and everything else (including Ken's announcement of his newly purchased bed ).


All I'm saying is, your stock camaro is awesome, no matter what people say, or what you think when you see a modified camaro. I'm sure you were like me, you spent the nights after you got it sitting in it in the garage messing around with stuff on it.

Now you need to come out and join us!!! You'll get good advice on what mods to do too!

lol, I appreciate it man, I don't need em tho. Stock DRLs are fine for now.

Tint I'll probably do in a month or so.

I'll look into the Fbody meet, My mother was (no really..) talking about renting a house at the beach though, and ya know when you're a kid you don't want to spend time with your parents, but I do now.. so if they're talking about that weekend.. not sure what I'm gonna do.

Just met the guys from tuscaloosa pickin up my LQ4. Nice guys! great to work with. Hope the motor serves them well!

It's funny they had some skipping in their truck, changed spark plugs and regapped em right in front of the house at 2 in the morning.

But anyway.. motor's gone.. but now I got a stack of cash and my savings are replenished. Time to start lookin into mods.

Yeah I am Chip. I'm back home now. I spent all Friday morning (1am-7am) in the ER cause I was worried I had something wrong with my bowels. My dads Colon ruptured 3 years ago with the same symptoms I had so I went to be safe. Anyways, when I got out at 7am I had my last exam at 8am.....and I can tell you that didn't go very well! Good luck on the rest of yours! I managed to pull a B in physics with a 25 on my first test in there...I was stoked!

So what goes on in the great state of GA........... (north Atlanta area)? This is the closest we have been to a big city for a couple of years now....LOL Seen a lot of friendly car owners around here. Thats a good sign....

Traffic..

TBH I avoid the city like the plague. I don't like being downtown.

There's a big car enthusiast base here though, and a lot of good parts suppliers local. (summit, yearone..)

there's road atlanta, apparently atlanta motorsports park, atlanta dragway, there's also an 1/8th track in calhoun.

Out my way several times a year there's the seney mud bogs if you're into trucks..

If you want/need something it's probably here, but if you want to go ANYWHERE.. you have to plan at least an hour trip.
