This is straight from the 2020 order guide.
Edit: The only way the 5.3 gets a higher rating is with the A8 (known issues), and/or with the Max Trailering package. The diesel is A10 only.

Either way - 300lbs...seriously?

Curious, do you tow?

It doesn't matter if I tow or not. You stated something as fact and I proved you wrong. Got any other misinformation you want spread?

I like those wheels...but whats up with the little fins in between each large opening of the silver spokes? I wonder if that is purely design...or does it also help to lower drag?

I think they're just decorative inserts. Although I guess they could serve some aerodynamic purpose.

They look awesome. Now the front end, I hope they toned that down a little. And maybe added headlights

You proved me wrong using a transmission not available with the diesel. So is the trans stronger or the 5.3????

I also quoted the Chevrolet Trailering guide with the provided link - is that the misinformation you speak of?

When comparing the same truck and transmission with the only difference being the engine - what is the result?

It matters greatly if you tow, or have owned a diesel or any variety of them. Otherwise, you opinion holds little value on the subject since you have no experience with it.

I hope it realizes Zero sails in the US and fails along with all the other GM pc bs.
I take this to mean you think Cadillac Lyriq will be imported from China? It won’t. There will be some made in China for China, but the products for US will likely be made at Spring Hill, TN.

Thanks, I will keep basing my beliefs on the facts and real world experience which includes the references noted, and 30 years of trailering experience with both gas and diesel units of every size from all manufacturers.

GM truck engineers stated during the diesel debut that a max tow diesel option is being worked on but was not pushed for initial release because they wanted to focus on overall efficiencies instead of max tow for the new power plant.

Now that should be the powertrain lineup for the 3rd gen Colorado. The 2.7 turbo4 and the 3.0 Duramax. Although i'm betting it's only the 2.7.
