Hey guys i want to formally introduce everyone to Bruce at Raymonds Performance out of Plainfield, IN. Some of you may know him as he's done some work for a few of the LPE guys on here. Him and his shop are among some of the best guys and gals (his wife is awesome and so kind) that ive had the pleasure of meeting and go racing with. Two years ago i call up Pete in a frustration about the way my car was handling (stock bushings back then) and being that i just got the car back from LPE i told Pete i wanted someone that i know will take care of my car as much as LPE did. He sent me to Bruce and i couldnt have got any better advice. They take what they do serious and they know Pedders equipment very well. If you guys want a company that takes care of your car as much as you do then give them a call. Pete never steers us in the wrong direction (for the most part
) and he definitely made the right call in this situation with my car. Him and some of his crew will be at some of the events this year.... let me know if you will be there and i will gladly introduce you. These guys know a thing or two about setting up suspensions thats for sure. Whether it be autocross or drag racing. Thanks again Bruce! You the man

I didn’t get a chance to fully test the triple carbon disc vs high rpm shifts yet. I found one of my one of my original LPE upgraded injectors got stuck open when I left Home Depot and gas flooded to the point of gas puddled in my exhaust tips and pouring out my muffler weep holes. But was a blessing in disguise…. Lingenfelter GT9 cam install was done in November and the valve seals somehow worked their way off, luckily GM tech (club member) pulled valve covers off while about to change injectors and found it before damage occurred. Machine shop verified clearances were already perfect with 3x clearance needed for seals. I have some theories (maybe tied to stuck open injector)…. but unproven. Saw the whole install myself, so confident seals installed correctly – life and car fun still continues! Anyway, since in this far I turned it into an opportunity – decided to prepare for more boost. ZL1 7 layer gaskets, ARP head studs, ½” RDS thermal plate for Maggie, ceramic coated Maggie SC tub, larger injectors & taller for thermal plate (have to return my LS3 shortys I had overnighted). Just received my goody package from Ryan with more Lingenfelter parts for rear SC tentioner/idler pully with 1:1 ratio and 16% OD pullys/belts, machined fuel rail for OD option. I was going to have SC tub ported by RDS (like Maggie Max package does), but low and behold Lingenfelter had already ported them with the nicely ported LS3 heads. Magnuson tub comes with V ports….. supposedly for California emmisions. Interestingly enough, I saw a SC tub on the LS7 that was being fitted for the RDS plate and it comes without the V ports! Any word on your Ideal clutch master cylinder install yet Dan?

I keep hearing so much good things about this RDS Thermal plate and Maggie Max. Do you care to share exactly what it is and does?

MWS444 and I spent 2 days with Bruce from Raymonds Performance, Mr. Lingenfelter, and Pete at the Optima challenge last November, watching the L/28 run for the first time.
Mike kept Pete up so late the first night, Pete crawled in the back of Bruce's rental and fell fast asleep... Mike sends me Pecans.. keep after him.. they are outrageously good! Hi Mike!

Not yet... I am in CA for work this week. still have a little bit left to finish up on the car before I am completely up and running again. maybe 3 or so hours in total, and I should be done.
I should be able to complete it this coming weekend, with the exception of the suspension alignment. |

It's been quite the process getting mine done quick enough.... since I had been checking on it, but not planning on it quite yet. Actually took my lower tub in my airline carryon bag, hand delivered for 2 day turnaround, flew back from work with it, and had it picked up. Plus rushed other parts from Ryan. The other big advantage is 1/2" more space below the innercooler, so flows better at higher RPMs and yields about 1 lb of boost without pully changes since the rotors aren't fighting the airflow. 102mm Throttle body also adds to the equation..... but I wouldn't get one now, until Nick Williams solves the TB slaming shut at high RWHP or TPIS figures theirs out. (or find the one Paul has). So..... what's under that big hood of yours

Great info! I always wonder why LPE doesn't put an IAT gauge up with the SC instead of using the MAF. I would think there would be a huge difference in the reading.
